Overtime Athletics game-plan is designed to motivate young people to embrace a healthy lifestyle at an early age while learning the rewards of teamwork and the fundamentals of the game. Overtime Athletics attention to details and enthusiasm for combining athletic games, contests, and instruction creates a positive environment for young participants to succeed.

"I wanted to take a minute to say how impressed we were with the Overtime program at Sligo/Dennis park this summer. My only regret was doing that thing parents sometimes do when they are planning summer camps for the first time ... I panicked and pulled a few of the weeks for "variety"   

I definitely regret it!  I wish I had stuck with our original plan.  During our Overtime weeks, there was a noticeable difference in Ryan's composure, his perception of his own capabilities, his willingness to help as part of our family "team" and even just his general interest in sports, which till this summer has been mostly limited to the color purple, bird mascots and yelling TOUCHDOWN loudly.  He made some friends (and probably had some disagreements) but he came back a different, more capable kid. 

The coaches that I talked to were also all just wonderful, you could tell they were happy to be there, genuinely liked being around all those kids and happy to have a conversation even with a "boring" old mom ;-)
