OTA Sells #15 (Prince William & Fredericksburg Counties VA)

Overtime Athletics (OTA) welcome a mother and son team Darlene and Dyron Murphy. Darlene was born in New York City and has lived abroad in Madrid, Spain and London, England. Darlene married an Air Force member and became a dependent wife. As a dependent wife and young mother, she started a certified child care center for young military children ages 6 weeks and up. She incorporated varying educational and sports programs for the child care program. Her love for education and business led her to earn a B.B.S from Averett University and M.B.A. from Capella University. For the past 12 years Darlene has worked for the federal government (U.S. Coast Guard, FEMA, U.S. Army) providing leadership development training to the federal workforce.

Dyron was born in Hampton, VA and is a 22-year-old young man who attended Virginia Union University in Richmond, VA. He began his studies in Sports Medicine. His love for sports and desire for more involvement with sports programs led him to join OTA in 2017 as Coach, and later he excelled as a Program Director. Darlene and Dyron are dedicated to their vision to see all children of all ages use positive leadership skills and judgement through sports and movement to excel in healthy lifestyles. They are both excited to join the Overtime Athletics family.
