We are excited to welcome the Preston family to the OTA Family. Kirk and Mary Preston are new to the Indy market and ready to offer Indiana youth the best that Overtime Athletics offers!

Mary is a 23-year educator who has served youth since she began her career in Fort Worth, Texas back in 2000. The family business is education, traceable all the way back to a great, great grandmother in the 1800s. Even though Mary tried a lot of different majors in college, when she and Kirk married and had their firstborn, she quickly followed in the footsteps of her sisters, joined the ranks, and began her teaching career. Mary was a classroom teacher, a school librarian, an elementary and high school assistant principal, and a 6th grade principal in the Lone Star State. Now, in Indiana, she continues to serve young people as an elementary principal and Overtime Athletics owner.

Kirk began his professional career in technology, and then changed course for a career in sales. Although he was experiencing success as a salesman, he received a calling to teach. Having married into a family of educators, he got bitten by the "Teaching Bug", too! Kirk is a US Navy Veteran and has been educating students and young people with special needs for 8 years and counting.

Providing a way for kids to play, learn, and develop into athletes and leaders is something Kirk and Mary know a little bit about: their sons, Kirk, II and Matthew, were both athletes in elementary and middle school, and played football and other sports in high school. Both young men are in college and have had opportunities to play at the collegiate level.

Our story continues as we begin as we branch into a new family business: Overtime Athletics.
